Whether it’s at our St Catherine’s home or in one of our The Manor homes, from the very beginning of our journey together, we’ll sit down with those in need of care, their family, loved ones and any other professionals involved and discuss specific care requirements.
These discussions not only allow us to conduct a care assessment, which will inform us of the type of care we think is needed, but also give us the opportunity to learn more about the individual needs, likes and dislikes. It helps us paint a picture of the person living with dementia - getting to know them and their support network are crucial first steps to begin our journey together, offering the most tailored and focussed care we can.
Offering highly tailored care.
The start of the journey.
We understand just how difficult it can be to talk about the subject of dementia, let alone finding the right level of care needed. But by reaching out to a member of our New Care Enquiries team, you will be taking the first and most important step.
Let’s talk.
From the moment you reach out to us, we’ll make sure you’re getting the right level of qualified advice, support and understanding you and your loved ones deserve. Our highly trained team will be their for you every step of the way.
What care is needed?
Our first job will be to work together with those living with dementia and their support group to identify what level of care is needed. Once we’ve identified this, then we can start to tailor is to suite the individual, and start our journey, together.
Dementia expertise across all of our homes.
Although our St Catherine’s home and our The Manor homes are solely focussed on dedicated dementia care, our expertise spreads throughout each and every one of our care homes. And with over 30+ years of experience in dedicated dementia care, we share our knowledge, experience and learnings across all of them. Which means that whichever Wellburn home you or a loved one choose, you’ll receive first-class, cutting-edge dementia care - amongst the best not only regionally, but nationally too.

Which is why we like to view ourselves as being a hub in the local community, opening our doors for others to utilise our spaces, whether that’s through one of our community coffee mornings or through one of our professional workshops. We nurture existing relationships and embrace new ones, with local GPS’s, social teams, charities and others that can make a real difference in the field of dementia care.
